You may submit your application for ICA’s consideration after you have been working here on an Employment or S Pass for a period of time.
For documents that are not in English language, ICA accepts translation done by the Embassy of the document-issuing country or a Notary Public in Singapore. A privately translated copy attested by the Embassy of the document-issuing country or notarized by a Notary Public in Singapore is also acceptable. ICA does not endorse any private translation companies or entities.

There is no limit to the number of times you can submit your application. As long as you meet the requirements and the eligibility, you can submit your application.
Yes, you may travel out of Singapore while waiting for the result of your PR application. If the application is approved, you (the applicant) must return to Singapore for the completion of formalities.
A Singapore PR can be a self-employed person. Please note that PR status does not exempt an individual from registration or any other conditions required under the respective professions for which professional registration to practice in Singapore is a prerequisite (e.g. medicine, dentistry, pharmacy, architecture, law, etc.).
Basically, there is no age limit to apply for Singapore PR. However, ICA takes into account factors such as the age, economic contributions, qualifications, family profile and length of residency as well as your commitment to sinking roots. Your Singapore PR application will be affected if you have applied under the Professionals/Technical Personnel and Skilled Workers scheme (PTS scheme) which requires a valid Employment Pass or S Pass as a prerequisite. We recommend you to get a job as soon as possible and update ICA on the change of job once your new employer issue you a work pass.
